TWEA Ministry Program

Step 2: the Mission of New Testament Ministers is to Administer the Testaments to All Peoples Under Civilization’s Ever-Progressing Forms of Government

The Mystery of Tabernacle Service

God issued the Testaments for either the salvation of those whom He preordained to be elected by grace through faith, or judgment for those who find their salvation in the ingenuity of humankind by way of the progressing civilizations that humankind have established. The Testaments in this way vindicate God’s will to show forth His glory through the prevailing of His right judgment, His righteousness, as experienced in our salvation in the Lord Jesus through the communion of the Holy Spirit; as God is the only source of the justification and subsequent knowledge that humanity’s souls seek. The duty, therefore, of true New Testament ministers is to seek the elect in whom hearts are sanctified and prepared to recognize the necessity of a righteousness and truth that stands beyond the powers of humankind, which worldly powers we see expressed in such things like the ingenuity of securing social status, performing religious works, being economically industrious, or possessing government rulership.
The mystery of the covenants, Testaments, and tabernacle service is that they show sanctified hearts transitioning from a dependence upon humankind’s ingenuity to a dependence upon a righteousness that their hands cannot command or take. Only an astute New Testament minister who has spiritual discernment can comprehend this mystery. By God’s grace, our purpose and hope are to make sure that your ministry correctly administers the New Testament, unto the absolute power and Glory of God.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” – Matthew 28:19

Understanding the Old Testament’s Indictment Upon the Progressing Nations

The story of the Israelites’ first approach to Mount Sinai, after the Lord delivered them from Pharaoh’s army, shows the stark contrast between, first, the elects’ faith needed for the elect to become beneficiaries of the righteousness (a right belief, orthodoxy) bequeathed in the Testament and, second, humanity’s alienation from God because of their sole dependence upon the ingenuity of human civilization. Moses had approached the Mountain after God kindled a fire upon a bush to get Moses’ attention; however, God sternly warned Moses that He would kill any Israelite who even approached to touch the Mountain. You see, Moses had come peaceably to the Mountain because Moses had given up his worldly life of being a renowned Egyptian prince. And so, Moses’ heart was sanctified, having been prepared to hear of a righteousness beyond humankind’s power. In contrast, many of the Israelites (who were not elected by grace through faith) still longed for the trappings of Egyptian civilization.
The task for New Testament ministers is to use a systematic understanding of the scriptures to teach the elect of God’s promise of not only an eternal life, but also a more abundant life for those who put their faith in Him. We of course cannot in few words narrate how to systematically employ the scriptures to execute a discipleship program. But we can give some general highlights until we produce more video productions and teaching material to assist you. We may note that a dutiful New Testament minister should have as his basis for teaching an effort that demonstrates how the seven chief biblical covenants are binding promises of God that successively grow a disciple’s understanding, dependency, and intimacy with God for those who put their trust in Him. Indeed, early on, the minister must help the disciple recognize how God’s covenant with Abraham marks our individual hope and devotion because of the fact that Lord Jesus’ righteousness is conferred upon us by faith alone (due to our hearts’ natural seeking after the Lord’s righteousness).
Next, the New Testament minister must show how the Law of Moses acts for all Christian generations as a schoolmaster demonstrating why the nations (including the not discipled Israelites at the time) could not approach the mountain. Of course, we know that the primary cause of sin manifested as the people’s self-interests and self-justification, which as we have said the succession of nations never justly overcome. But in demonstrating what separates the peoples from the mountain, the Law also distinguishes the elect community of saints who see the Law as not just another worldly means for self-justification through religious rituals. The elect instinctively recognize that the Law points to the Heavenly state of righteousness that the redeemer, the New Adam, bequeaths. The New Testament minister has only to recognize the principles behind the rituals that the Law prescribes: the rituals merely coach the principles into the people. Reflecting upon the real meaning behind the Law that He dictated to Moses, God spoke through the prophet Hosea saying, “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” -Hosea 6:6
To magnify the Law’s principles, the primary benchmarks in teaching the Law are as follows: the New Testament minister must note how the Law entails 10 Commandments (key principles for all generations) and judgements for Israel’s agrarian economy, which also entail eternal principles that point to a transitioning from a dependency upon human ingenuity to a dependency upon God’s eternal righteousness. For example, the Law of Moses dictates that the Israelites are to sacrifice their best crops and animals in order to relinquish their dependency upon their own ingenuity and establish their dependency upon the Lord, dwelling in the Holy of Holies, a place represented by a tabernacle. The elect people and leaders, having a dependency on faith in God’s righteousness, willfully trusted that the Lord’s redemption would supply their needs despite the temporal loss of their material best; while the faithless people and leaders struggled. The effect was the faithful learned not to covet another’s property, while the faithless still coveted, still remained selfish and proud, and kept the other ill dispositions that spell the ruin of any community.
Now having this important incite concerning the Law of Moses, the next and most crucial step for the New Testament minister is to understand that the Lord did not sanctify Israel with His Law simply to cast away other nations. Instead, the Lord created and sanctified Israel to be an example to other nations of the need to repent and be reconciled by Abraham’s descendent: the New Adam and Testator who will redeem the elect from all nations. And so, the minister must initially show how the Law of Moses, the heart of the Old Testament, indicts the injustices of the nations, which are ignorant of the necessity of being reconciled with God’s righteousness, represented in the Holy Place of the Law’s tabernacle. To this end, the minister has only to observe how God placed Israel in the midst of a geographic thoroughfare that the Mesopotamian and Mediterranean progressing nations necessarily used in their conflicts with one another. Indeed, through these means, God introduced His Law and proclaimed His ultimate judgement to the entire succession of human governments: the succession of governments’ both highlighted their strengths and ultimate injustices as well as highlighted the strengths of the Israelite elect and weaknesses of Israel’s faithless.

The New Testament’s Ushering in the Modern World

For our instruction, we must note that the prophet Daniel best captures Israel’s confrontations with the succeeding nations and the manner in which the Christ will ultimately overcome them. Thus, to complete the discipleship program, the New Testament minister must use the Old Testament’s record (of Israel’s conflict with these nations) as a schoolmaster. In this way, the minister can understand fully how Lord Jesus’ sacrifice, resurrection, and bequeathing of the Holy Spirit (indiscriminately to the elect among all countries) overcome the nations’ injustices; even as the Holy Spirit empowers the elect to become the salt of the earth, showing forth the light of Lord Jesus’ righteousness until the Lord’s return. In point of fact, the New Testament ministers have only to understand that the record of the ancient succession of nations is the outline of the modern nations that the Church faces today. For instance, to construct today’s Western governments, the authors of our modern constitutions and social contracts studied the classical record of the succeeding nations that came into conflict with ancient Israel. Therefore, the New Testament minister must recognize how the freedoms that we enjoy are not the effect of our constitutional authors’ abilities to copy ancient philosophical teachings. Rather, the minister must understand how the Lord’s indiscriminate election (despite race, male-female sex, family lineage, self-serving religious works, or social standing) enabled common people to grasp the efficacy of greater ideals. In this way, the people overlook millennia of allegiance to family, clan, and other group-based factions to abide by a social contract with others who are sometimes drastically different, even often residing across large geographic bounds.
What is also critical for the New Testament minister’s understanding is the fact that God necessarily hid the truth of Lord Jesus the Christ from Israel, during the present period of the Lord’s reconciling the gentiles to God through the sacrifice and subsequent testatorship of Lord Jesus the Christ. In the same manner in which the elected Jacob appreciated his brother’s birthright through faith, while his brother did not; the gentiles now appreciate their election by grace through faith alone and not by racial heritage (i.e., kindred group); until the elect of Israel rejoin the gentiles at the Lord Jesus’ reappearing. You see, the New Testament minister must keep in mind that Lord Jesus, now being the Testator and High Priest, bequeaths the Holy Spirit indiscriminately to the elect, regardless of their race, male or female sex, family lineage, self-serving religious works, and social standing. In other words, the Lord’s indiscriminate election helped the Church to overcome the pride, self-interest, prejudice, and other sins that corrupts the nations, as elect saints who value righteousness arise at every stratum of the progressing governments to help other saints.
To be sure, after the deaths of the Apostles and upon the fall of a Christianized Roman Empire, a new succession of governments occurred, progressing from patriarchy, monarchy, aristocracy, democracy, to federal republic. Each respective government’s societal effect left a footprint on social norms and philosophical and technological invention, just as the respective government’s ancient precursor did in the ancient world. In Europe, the elect of the Church appeared in every social stratum. The elect, holding true to their valuing the eternal righteousness of the Christ, civilized early Germanic Europeans, cultivating their societal development, from the emergence of Christian kings, to the solidification of customs and moral norms across the European continent, unto finally the growth of economic productivity came into being amongst the masses. However, what sealed the possibility of modern representational government was not merely the secular leaders’ philosophical enlightenment upon studying the classical record: what made modern representational government possible was the people’s ability to govern themselves under moral Christian norms, especially in the United States of America.
Modern representational democracy first flourished in the United States of America, due to its strong biblically literate Christian population and commitment to the principle of Freedom of Religion, their knowing that one’s faith is by an election of the heart alone; therefore, this principle manifests the understanding that one could not ascribe their faith upon another’s heart if the Lord Himself did not do the work. And so, though early Americans were above 80 percent devout Christians, they accepted the rule of a secular government to ensure religious freedom while arbitrating legal differences.

A Systematic Way to Take Lessons Learned from the Scriptures to Confront Today’s Challenges

We have an extensive library of the classical literature, ranging from Homer, Plutarch, Arian, Livy, Xenophon, Josephus, Manetho, to Plato, Aristotle, Thucydides, Suetonius, Eusebius, and many more. Moreover, we have an impressive library of the thinkers that drew inspiration from the classics to fashion our modern constitutions.
From the historical record, we understand that the nature of the several forms of government—that is, their workings, lifespans, checks and balances, and societal effects—are well known. For example, monarchies usually align themselves with a mainstream religion, becoming its defender for political and social stability. Democracies and representational forms of government usually champion religious freedom and freedom of conscience; however, these forms of government usually succumb to factionalism. Then a more centralized government arises, emphasizing a secular religion of the state, requiring censorship of religions and other forms of private fraternity. Nihilism, atheism, agnosticism, and intolerance result.
Because of globalism and the increasing policies centered around the forced acceptance of lifestyles that counter long held religious and fraternal traditions; we fear that Western governments are spiraling down the path of religious censorship: the loss of true religious freedom. Still, we know that the best comfort that we have is the fact that Lord Jesus the Christ purposely appeared at the end of the classical period, at the advent of Imperial Rome, the forerunner to totalitarian regimes that censor all in difference to a cult of the State, as was represented by the Roman Emperor. Giving us hope, Lord Jesus rose from death and indiscriminately bequeathed the Holy Spirit that we may conquer the very threatening socio-political environment that we see exponentially growing today.
Our strategy is to actually follow the instructions of Lord Jesus, trusting that the Holy Spirit will lead us to overcome. The Lord said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit . . .” –Matthew 28:19-20
Of course, staying true to the necessity of literal baptism, some have rightly concluded in principle that the Lord would have us to immerse disciples in the knowledge of the triune God, probably for the same epistemological reasons that we have explained.
Be that as it may, in His parables, the Lord indicated that because of His indiscriminate election, which confounds the societal dependencies of humankind, the elect-faithful make up roughly a .63 percent majority of the population, spread about the nations as wheat among weeds. Therefore, our New Testament ministry’s discipleship program must be a straightforward preaching and teaching of the gospel as we are roughly outlining in our three steps. For only the recognition of orthodox teachings will unite the Church that derives from different stages of the nations’ governing successions.
Then knowing that the Lord’s election is to a great extent aimed at individual hearts (though the scripture indicates that whole households are often saved); we should concentrate our efforts on equipping each saint with the knowledge of how the Testaments actually overcome the particular societal environments that each saint faces. Indeed, our ministry will work to provide cultural analysis of the respective sociocultural challenges that churches face. Like so, all saints will personally be witnesses for the Christ, mitigating the injustices to ensure our religious freedom, as we fight the good fight from every sector of the global community.
To this end, we prescribe a generational ministry as step three of our three step program. But to conclude step two, we must say that the heart of the church must be an ongoing process of teaching how the Old and New Testaments overcome the nations as we have described above.

Why you, the readers, who are not professional ministers, are particularly necessary to forward the cause of our unique ministry

The Lord Jesus the Christ purposely entrusted His Church and Gospel into the hands of working-class fishermen (representing all classes of people), because the greater truths of the Old and New Testaments can only be understood from the unique perspectives of individual life experiences. The Church’s strength, thus, stands upon the discipling of every congregant with foundational learning.
But not all have the same learning capacity; therefore, TWEA thanks you, the reader, for having the wisdom to recognize the intellectual merit of our unique ministry. Please help spread the vital mission of our ministry, and please donate to help us raise awareness and promote education-based Churches for today’s world.

Support Needed for Step 2 Topic Schedule of Teachings:

We need your support for our pending production of supporting videos covering a rigorous systematic teaching of the Old and New Testaments, as well as supporting historical accounts from our classical library, which are pertinent to Step 2 of our ministry program. Ongoing productions and teachings are forthcoming; however, we need your financial assistance. The work done until this time has been performed by volunteers with little costs; however, to sufficiently treat our ministry efforts, we need a full and part time committed team. Check back soon for upcoming instructional material! Until then, for a full understanding of the systematic theology that our three-step program recommends, please purchase a copy of the doctrinal treatise, The Landscape of Truth: An Orthodox Understanding of the Biblical Testaments for the True Worshippers.
For the material covered in our three-step program, we recommend chapters 1, 2, …4, 5, 6, and 7 (primarily 5, 6, and 7). Chapter 3 may prove to be difficult for those without a philosophy and science-based background; however, chapter 3 is written for the patient novice. Thank you!
